Campus Threat & Security Assessments follow established CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) security principles and strategies. The assessments are inclusive of but not limited to:
Participation on District Safety – Security Committees that address earthquake NIMS / SEMS preparations – emergency management District & Campus training & drills / exercises.
Basic forms and report narrative writing preparation techniques for
classified employees.
This presentation will address techniques and strategies to deal with issues of
aggressive behavior by student(s) against other student(s) or faculty. It will also
cover crucial aspects of identifying, preventing, and addressing everyday
situations from physically escalation to de-escalation.
Completion of this 3-hour course qualifies for a two-year certification certificate.
